Our framework translates the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (SDGs) into 6 concrete fields of action. This SPORTS20 standard is the first guideline that shows all protagonists (athletes, clubs, associations, events) the way to sustainability. It can be used for all types of sports and all fields of activities in sports. For the first time the world of sports has a clear roadmap how to tackle the challenges of our time and fulfil the SDGs.
